Mandelterm

This is a fun program to generate low resolution Mandelbrot sets in your terminal.

Install

Mandelterm is a Go program and comes as a single binary file.

Download the relevant binary from

• http://www.craig-wood.com/nick/pub/mandelterm/

Or alternatively if you have Go installed use

go get github.com/ncw/mandelterm

and this will build the binary in $GOPATH/bin. You can then modify the source and submit patches.

Usage

Run the program to see a mandelbrot set.

Control the view with the following keys

• Arrow keys to Move
• PgUp/PdDown/+/- to zoom
• [/] to change depth
• h toggle help on and off
• i toggle info on and off
• q/ESC/c-C to quit
• r to reset to start
