Overview ¶
graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationRootNode is a base class for [graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationNode]s that hold a complete animation. A complete animation refers to the output of an graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationNodeOutput in an graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationNodeBlendTree or the output of another graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationRootNode. Used for graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationTree.Instance.TreeRoot or in other [graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationRootNode]s.
Examples of built-in root nodes include graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationNodeBlendTree (allows blending nodes between each other using various modes), graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationNodeStateMachine (allows to configure blending and transitions between nodes using a state machine pattern), graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationNodeBlendSpace2D (allows linear blending between three [graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationNode]s), graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationNodeBlendSpace1D (allows linear blending only between two [graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationNode]s).
