Overview ¶
A 1D texture that obtains colors from a graphics.gd/classdb/Gradient to fill the texture data. The texture is filled by sampling the gradient for each pixel. Therefore, the texture does not necessarily represent an exact copy of the gradient, as it may miss some colors if there are not enough pixels. See also graphics.gd/classdb/GradientTexture2D, graphics.gd/classdb/CurveTexture and graphics.gd/classdb/CurveXYZTexture.

ID is a typed object ID (reference) to an instance of this class, use it to store references to objects with unknown lifetimes, as an ID will not panic on use if the underlying object has been destroyed.
