Overview ¶
A static 3D physics body. It can't be moved by external forces or contacts, but can be moved manually by other means such as code, [graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationMixer]s (with graphics.gd/classdb/AnimationMixer.Instance.CallbackModeProcess set to [Animationmixer.AnimationCallbackModeProcessPhysics]), and graphics.gd/classdb/RemoteTransform3D.
When graphics.gd/classdb/StaticBody3D is moved, it is teleported to its new position without affecting other physics bodies in its path. If this is not desired, use graphics.gd/classdb/AnimatableBody3D instead.
graphics.gd/classdb/StaticBody3D is useful for completely static objects like floors and walls, as well as moving surfaces like conveyor belts and circular revolving platforms (by using Instance.ConstantLinearVelocity and Instance.ConstantAngularVelocity).

Types ¶
type Advanced ¶
type Advanced = class
Advanced exposes a 1:1 low-level instance of the class, undocumented, for those who know what they are doing.
type Extension ¶
Extension can be embedded in a new struct to create an extension of this class. T should be the type that is embedding this Extension
func (*Extension[T]) AsCollisionObject3D ¶
func (self *Extension[T]) AsCollisionObject3D() CollisionObject3D.Instance
func (*Extension[T]) AsPhysicsBody3D ¶
func (self *Extension[T]) AsPhysicsBody3D() PhysicsBody3D.Instance
func (*Extension[T]) AsStaticBody3D ¶
type ID ¶
ID is a typed object ID (reference) to an instance of this class, use it to store references to objects with unknown lifetimes, as an ID will not panic on use if the underlying object has been destroyed.
type Instance ¶
type Instance [1]gdclass.StaticBody3D
Instance of the class with convieniently typed arguments and results.
var Nil Instance
Nil is a nil/null instance of the class. Equivalent to the zero value.
